Mr. Arun Luthra, CHA, President and CEO
Arun is the President and Chief Executive Officer of American Hospitality Management.Arun has successfully owned and operated over a dozen hotels and restaurants since 1990. Working with the Ulysses Hotel Corporation, Arun was involved in the development and opening of the Days Inn hotel located in Lanham,Maryland. In 1994 Arun expanded his company by leasing the restaurant space at the DaysInn hotel located in Washington, D.C. In addition to the restaurant operations, Arun was able to negotiate a deal with the hotel to control all Food and Beverage operations needed by this busy downtown property. Arun has also spearheaded several developments through his own construction company, JMD International.

JMD International was created as a real estate development company which started with hotel developments, office condos and residential developments. Soon after, he started his own real-estate development ventures. Some of these developments included conversions of two Carlson Properties. The first one was the Knights Inn located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The second was the Econo Lodge located in Frederick, Maryland. Throughout the remaining years Arun's projects included developments and conversions of many Cendant and Choice branded properties, which were later sold.

Mr. Parvez Ahmed, Vice President and COO
Mr. Parvez Ahmed is the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of American Hospitality Management. Parvez launched his hospitality career in 1986 as a young bellman with goals to own and operate his own hotels. Parvez has held senior management positions with properties to include Marriott and Hilton brands for over a decade now. During his years with Marriott International, Parvez successfully helped open the Residence Inn, Thomas Circle in Washington, D.C. A few years later Parvez joined Urgo Hotels, a hotel ownership and management company based out of Maryland.

Urgo Hotels' portfolio included a variety of successful Marriott properties. Parvez was part of the company's takeover team when they acquired the Hilton Garden Inn located in downtown Washington, DC. While working for Urgo Hotels, Parvez got an opportunity to expand his skills in the area of Human Resource Management at the hotel and corporate level. Parvez has also successfully launched, owned and operated a nationwide limousine company for the past 8 years.
